Have you ever experienced not being able to access a particular website because it is blocked? Have you ever wondered if there is a way for you to access a website anonymously?
You may not know this but you are leaving trail after trail online when you open a website. Any hacker can practically follow your trail and know what sites you have visited. If you want to access a blocked site or if you want to visit websites anonymously, you should try using proxy sites.
What are Proxy Sites?
Proxy sites are basically web pages that you can use in order to browse or access your favorite website anonymously. You can also use these sites if a particular website you would like to visit is barred by a content filter. You can actually go around your Internet provider. You can browse various websites using these web pages.
There are numerous dependable proxy sites online. All you have to do is visit one of these sites and key in the URL address of the website that you would like to visit. Usually, you will see a form on the site’s webpage. You can then type the address and you can start browsing. You are well-protected. Your real IP address will not register. You can now enjoy anonymous browsing.
What is Anonymous Browsing?
It is basically browsing the Internet with your identity hidden. You can do this if you use an anonymous browser or proxy sites. These sites will bring you to the URL address that you would like to visit however your location or IP address will not register. The proxy site instead will talk to the particular address you are accessing. It will act as an emissary for you. The good thing about this is that your privacy will be maintained. You can avoid actual and probable users spying on you and your connections.
Risks Attached to Using Proxy Sites
Using these sites may seem to be the ultimate solution, but there are certain drawbacks to using them. They can be likely harmful because data is not encrypted when you use them. The data remains unprotected when it is sent to the servers; thus, your logins and passwords could be recorded or leaked. The truth is that there are malicious proxy sites online. You need to be careful when using these sites. You may fall prey to one of them and you could end up providing too much information. Your desire to browse anonymously could lead to huge disasters. You could end up having your accounts hacked. In fact, there are unscrupulous proxy websites that sell their user’s information to online felons. Just be sure to use a reputable proxy server.
Choosing Proxy Sites
You need to be careful when choosing a particular proxy website. A good and reliable site will offer an SSL tunnel or TLS tunnel. This will prevent online rogues from stealing your information. Aside from this feature, you may want to look for a proxy that supports the particular protocol that you prefer. There are proxy sites that only support FTP or HTTP.
If you want to bypass blocked websites or if you want to surf sites anonymously, you can always use proxy sites. Make sure, however, that you choose your proxy carefully. Otherwise, using these sites could end up a huge disaster for you.

Parenthood by Proxy: Don’t Have Them If You Won’t Raise Them
Feb 24th, 2010 by proxytalk

Product Description
Children’s welfare is the driving force behind Dr. Laura Schlessinger’s mission. A devoted mother to her son, Deryk, she identifies herself as “her kid’s mom” because that’s her most important job.

Never one to shy away from tough truths, Dr. Laura marshalls compelling evidence for the widespread neglect of America’s children and convincingly condemns the numerous rationalizations to excuse it. Parents, special interest groups, and professionals in education and psychology all contribute to a dangerous trend that places adult fulfillment above obligation to children. Parenthood by Proxy addresses the serious causes and effects of this national crisis, among them the high rate of divorce, serial marriages, single parenting, the premature sexualization of children, dual-career families, disdain for religion, the redefinition of immoral behavior as lifestyle choices, and societal intolerance for the concept of judgment.

In Parenthood by Proxy, Dr. Laura exhorts parents to make their own children their top priority and, if necessary, to change their lives to do so. In her inimitable, straight-shooting style, Dr. Laura entreats parents to involve themselves in their children’s hearts, minds, and souls, to cherish and protect them, and to commit to the essential task of teaching them right from wrong. She acknowledges that parents no longer get much support from neighbors or public and private institutions, but she urges mothers and fathers to work even harder to counteract the prevailing culture of selfishness and irresponsibility.

Parenthood by Proxy covers all aspects of parenting, from childbearing to discipline, from multiple families to being role models. Dr. Laura also tackles such cultural and societal concerns as abortion, modern sexuality, drug and alcohol use, violence, discipline, and a child’s right to privacy.

Parenthood by Proxy is a passionate and provocative summation of the perils of parenting and a road map to safety for America’s families.
